Role:  Senior Salesforce Administrator

Location: New York City


Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective Salesforce and sales technology solutions that enable our clients to reach their growth goals

  • Full-cycle Salesforce Administration: Design and build solutions, document, and train client team members

    • Determine business, functional and technical requirements

    • Perform configuration and customization of the platform

    • Be able to manage multiple production and sandbox environments

    • Participate in and/or lead efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation

    • Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it

  • Integrate and manage 3rd party applications within the Salesforce platform, such as:

    • Marketing automation platforms

    • Sales engagement platforms

    • Data management platforms

  • Ensure client success (handling multiple clients at any given time)

    • Deliver projects on time and within scope

    • Communicate clearly and consistently

    • Interface directly with clients on a daily basis

    • Maintain project management tracking tools (Asana, Jira, etc)

  • Help build Admin Within’s library of best-practice templates and resources

  • Collaborate with Admin Within team members on project delivery, including Salesforce Admins and Developers



  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator

    • Experience leading medium/large projects (such as implementing Sales Engagement, merging Salesforce environments, CPQ, Lightning migration, launching new tools, etc)

    • At least 1 Salesforce certification

  • Experience in Sales reporting and analysis

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience working with venture-backed tech companies (ideally B2B SaaS or B2C)

  • Prior experience working in a consulting role is a plus


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Pardot (or other marketing automation platforms)

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ

  • Experience with Outreach and/or SalesLoft
