Account Executive

Job Title: Account Executive (founding member of sales team)

Location: Remote (US)

We're Rev Ops consultants delivering scalable revenue technology stacks, built around Salesforce. From idea through implementation, we help companies optimize their sales and system processes to drive business results. We pioneered Rev Ops as a Service -- basically experienced Ops pros on a fractional basis to help our clients optimize their processes. Admin Within grew 181% last year, and strives to continue to be the best Rev Ops consulting team out there!


The Role:  

You’ll be selling a service that every B2B company needs: Revenue Operations is on the rise, with statistics like “Companies that deployed RevOps grew revenue 3x faster than those that didn’t. (Forrester)”. As the first member of Admin Within’s sales team, you will have the opportunity to build our sales function. This role is central to Admin Within achieving a 2023 key objective of: have a consistent pipeline, by developing a repeatable go to market process. You’ll be helping build on our existing success with powerhouse clients such as Datadog, G2, LinkSquares, 7shifts, and Nextdoor. 

You will have full latitude in how you position and sell Admin Within, and will be able to run your pipeline like an entrepreneur. You will also work directly with our CEO in building out our set of standardized product offerings and core competencies, and the marketing/sales materials to support them.

Job Responsibilities - Now:

  • Run a full cycle outbound sales process from top of funnel through to closed won. 

  • Proactively reach out to prospects (B2B SaaS sales, marketing, and CS leaders) for Admin Within’s Rev Ops as a Service offering

  • Create and run multi-touch and multi-channel cadences for outreach, using email, phone, LinkedIn

  • Set meetings to introduce Admin Within to prospects, and complete the discovery and qualification process.

  • Manage pipeline through evaluation and contracting process, to closed won.

  • Use insights gained from sales process to help inform Admin Within marketing, customer stories, and content needs

  • Utilize Admin Within sales tools, including Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn, Chili Piper, Truly, and more


Job Responsibilities - Future Vision (8-12 months away):

  • Building on your own success in the role, opportunity to evolve into a sales manager or director role and scale up the organization. 

  • Hiring, onboarding, and enablement for Admin Within sales team members

  • Coaching team members to deliver highest quality prospect experience

  • Create sales team goals and review progress, and help team members progress their skills and career



  • 2+ years of experience selling to sales and marketing leaders in the SaaS and technology space

  • Self starter, with the ability to set and exceed achievable targets.

  • Consistent track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company)

  • Comfortable using sales technology to operate efficiently and effectively

  • Familiarity with sales/marketing tech stack (Salesforce, Hubspot, Marketo, etc),

  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

  • 4-year BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
